Jennifer Hopper, Head of MFL at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow and NCELP Specialist Teacher has received a German Teacher Award (2021).

The German Teacher Award celebrates the best and most dedicated champions of German in primary and secondary schools across the UK and is organised by the German Embassy. Jenny has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

On Twitter her school said:

“We could not be more proud of Mrs Hopper! During her time as head of @BorlaseMFL, language teaching and learning here has gone from strength to strength and gained a truly national reputation through #NCELP and @OakNational. Such a well-deserved accolade”.

Jenny is one of 18 Specialist Teachers in nine Lead Schools within our hub network that have worked with us since December 2018. We are delighted that Jenny will remain with us for a fourth year as one of the Course Leaders on our MFL CPD programme, running from January 2022.

We are very proud of her indeed!
