Natalie Finlayson – Senior Resource Developer

Natalie is a teacher and researcher of English, French and German language and linguistics, specialising in vocabulary teaching and acquisition. She is currently working on a PhD in Linguistics at the University of Glasgow, focussing on the creation of topic word lists for intermediate-level learners, as well as on an MEd in Academic Practice. She holds various teaching roles in the higher education and adult education contexts, and has previously worked as a Native Language Teacher at the University of Nice. Natalie has completed an MA in French and German at the University of Glasgow, and an MSc in Translating and Conference Interpreting at Heriot Watt University.
 
Natalie joined the NCELP team in September 2019, and is excited about the opportunity to use her knowledge and experience to encourage secondary school pupils to engage with language learning.
