Louise’s research interests include the psycholinguistics and psychology of language learning and how they are affected by the environment, such as school language policies. For her PhD in Applied Linguistics at Birkbeck, University of London, she investigated the language practices in psychotherapy of multilingual adults. She lectures on Bilingualism at the University of Greenwich and has experience of teaching English in primary and secondary schools in Japan, and French to francophone primary school children in the UK. She joined the NCELP team as a Research Trainee in October 2022.
