Giulia is interested in the psycholinguistic processes underlying second language acquisition. After completing a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics in 2019, she joined the University of York to work with Professor Emma Marsden on the project ‘Processing for Acquisition’, investigating the role of prediction in the acquisition of new syntactic structures. During this time, she also collaborated with NCELP on a range of activities including research and test delivery. In October 2021, she joined the NCELP team as a Research Associate.
